Experienced WordPress Developer for Custom-Coded Site — Ongoing Website Support
About Seeds Seeds (useseeds.com) is a fast-growing fintech platform that helps independent financial advisors build, manage, and execute personalized investment strategies for their clients. We are scaling our marketing and web presence to match messaging that has evolved over time. Our website is a professionally built, fully custom-coded WordPress site — no page builders, no drag-and-drop shortcuts — and we need a developer who's comfortable at that level. The Role We're looking for an experienced WordPress developer for ongoing, part-time support across a range of web projects. This is not a one-time engagement — we want someone who can become a trusted technical partner, learn our codebase, and deliver consistently over time. You'll work directly with our marketing team. Availability during Eastern Time business hours is preferred but not required. About Our Tech Stack WordPress 6.x, fully custom PHP theme No Elementor, no Divi, no page builder of any kind Advanced Custom Fields Pro (ACF) for flexible page layouts Gravity Forms for lead capture HubSpot integrated for CRM and marketing automation Google Tag Manager managing GA4, Google Search Console, and other tracking If you primarily work with page builders or rely on plugins to handle tasks that require custom PHP, this role is not the right fit. Projects You'll Support Here's the ongoing work queue: Blog & CMS Redesign the blog index UI — updating card layouts, typography, featured post treatment, and overall visual hierarchy Add new filtering functionality to the blog — filter by content type, topic, or date using AJAX-driven queries (no full page reload) Ensure all existing Custom Post Types and Taxonomies are cleanly integrated into any updated blog UI Navigation Update the master navigation — structural changes, new menu items, potential mega-menu or dropdown modifications Ensure mobile responsiveness and animation behavior are preserved New Pages & Landing Pages Build new standard pages using existing ACF field groups and page templates Create custom conversion-focused landing pages that match the existing brand system — these may require new ACF flexible content blocks or custom page templates Landing pages should be fast, clean, and structured for SEO Analytics & Tag Management Audit and configure Google Tag Manager container — ensuring all tags, triggers, and variables are clean and organized Set up or validate GA4 data streams, event tracking (form submissions, CTA clicks, scroll depth, video plays), and conversion goals Connect Google Search Console to GA4 and ensure sitemap is properly submitted Implement Consent Mode v2 if not already in place (important for our financial services compliance context) Document the GTM/GA4 setup so our team can self-serve basic reporting HubSpot Integration (Bonus) Configure or audit the HubSpot WordPress plugin Ensure HubSpot forms and tracking scripts are firing correctly through GTM Map UTM parameters cleanly through the HubSpot → GA4 pipeline so we can attribute leads accurately How We Work We're a small, collaborative marketing team. You'll communicate with us primarily through Slack for day-to-day updates, Google Meet for kickoffs and check-ins, and email for anything that needs a paper trail. We value clear, proactive communication — if something is taking longer than expected or you hit a blocker, we'd rather hear about it early than late. We don't need daily status reports, but we do expect reasonable responsiveness during business hours.
How to Apply
Share a brief intro and links to two or three WordPress sites you've built or maintained — ideally custom-coded, not page builder work. That's it. If your background looks like a strong fit, we'll schedule a short consultation call where we'll walk you through the site, share our goals, and give you a chance to ask questions. That conversation will tell us both whether this is the right match. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
