Senior Python Engineer (Onsite) – Data Science HIRING: Senior Python Engineer – Data Science (Onsite) Ledelsea is hiring a Senior Python Engineer for a data science engagement. This is an ONSITE role. Experience Required: Bachelor's + 3-4 years OR Master's + 4-5 years of professional experience as a Python Engineer in a data-intensive or scientific computing environment. Roles & Responsibilities: ✅ Design and develop complex Python applications using modular, object-oriented programming principles ✅ Build performance-optimized data and computational workloads using pandas and NumPy, including vectorization and memory-efficient patterns ✅ Develop scientific and financial models in Python, ensuring numerical accuracy, reproducibility, and maintainability ✅ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python applications, including automated testing, packaging, and deployment ✅ Integrate pytest into the development workflow and write thorough unit and integration tests ✅ Work with Databricks and Palantir Foundry to develop, productionize, and orchestrate Python-based data workflows ✅ Apply Spark-based development patterns, parallelization techniques, and distributed computing frameworks to scale workloads ✅ Profile and optimize Python code for performance bottlenecks in data-intensive workloads ✅ Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders ✅ Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's + 3-4 years OR Master's + 4-5 years of senior Python engineering experience Strong OOP, modular design, and performance optimization in Python Strong pandas and NumPy experience on data-intensive workloads Hands-on with pytest and CI/CD pipelines for Python applications ⚡ Familiarity with Databricks, Palantir, Spark, and distributed computing Available to work onsite as required by the engagement Lead Python Developer HIRING: Lead Python Developer Ledelsea is hiring a Lead Python Developer to own the complete lifecycle of production-grade full-stack Python applications. Experience Required: Bachelor's + 3-4 years OR Master's + 4-5 years (minimum) of professional Python development experience, with demonstrated team lead experience and full-lifecycle application ownership. Candidates with significantly more lead-level experience are preferred. Location Requirement: Candidates must be willing to relocate to the state and city of the client site.
