Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business success. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer's individualized needs
- Demonstrating expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines, and recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services
- Providing outstanding customer service experiences by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
- Ensuring all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer
- Taking complex customer orders using order systems and providing accurate pricing information
- Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
- Setting up and operating printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education
- 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand during entire shifts, excluding meal and rest periods
- Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
- Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
- Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Knowledge of printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
- Ability to operate a Point of Sale terminal (POS) and process financial transactions
- Experience with inventory management and stock control
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
