Our Cloud Databases team is responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation that helps customers build and deploy faster, deliver transformational applications, and maintain data portability and control. As an Experienced Full Stack Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality technical documentation that meets the needs of our customers. You will work closely with engineers, product management, and UX researchers to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys. You will also collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing, mentor and support other authors on the Cloud Databases team, and continually improve practices to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Technical Writer, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, designing, writing, and publishing technical documentation for the Cloud Database Service, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and guidelines for how customers do business.
• Working closely with Product Management, Engineers, UX Researchers, and UI Partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys.
• Collaborating with Cloud Database Authors to continually improve practices and deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing.
• Mentoring and supporting other authors on the Cloud Databases team.
• Updating documents to respond to customer feedback and internal bug reports.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communication or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of technical writing experience.
• Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud products.
• Experience in a related role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services.
• HTML or Markdown skills; Unix environment skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven communication and team skills and strong initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with arenaflex Cloud Platform (ACP) and Cloud Databases.

• Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services.
• Experience with arenaflex's documentation tools and processes.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's customer journey and information architecture.
