Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will enable you to effectively triage customer service requests, calculate and verify correct dosages, and maintain accurate customer records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's and ensuring timely completion
- Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
- Create and maintain accurate customer records

Required Qualifications:
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
