About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a vital role in efficiently managing service requests by entering data into our hotel database. Effective communication with IPA and Providers is crucial to ensure timely services. You'll report directly to the Lead Coordinator and work under the guidance of the manager, upholding our established policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, calculators, fax machines, and document scanners.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with Microsoft SAP is a plus.
- Foster a team-oriented environment with strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a positive attitude.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute actively to process improvements and daily operations.
- Assist other departments as needed, adapting to varying assignments.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, or crouch as required.
- Maintain focus in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy periods.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in data entry.
- Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute (WPM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
