The Role
As a Support Specialist - Customer Care & Billing, you'll be part of a talented team that's passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting members in all aspects of application support, including troubleshooting, training, and research
- Following up on resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assisting with software release processes to ensure seamless product updates
- Communicating with development staff to convey customer feedback and drive product improvement
- Performing on-site or remote training to our members, empowering them to get the most out of our software products
- Providing after-hours support via an on-call support phone rotation, demonstrating our commitment to 24/7 customer support
Desired Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous customer support experience, preferably in a similar industry or with a similar software product
- Basic knowledge of Project Management processes to effectively manage support requests and prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and development staff
- Excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to deal effectively with customers, even in high-pressure situations
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
- Ability to teach others, either through training sessions or one-on-one support
- Ability to work in a team and independently, with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving
- Previous experience with presentations or public speaking, a plus
Desired Education
While a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred, we're open to considering candidates with equivalent experience. A minimum high school diploma is required.
