Job Summary

As a Customer Contact Center (Student Loan Advisor) at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to students and families navigating the complexities of student loans. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your expertise, empathy, and communication skills will make all the difference in their journey. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to students and families through phone, email, and chat interactions

  • Answer frequent questions, provide detailed information, and resolve emerging problems related to student loans
  • Process applications, verify information, and ensure accurate and efficient resolution of customer inquiries
  • Utilize standard technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers, to navigate and complete tasks
  • Follow established policies and procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of customer interactions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Schedule

* Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm

  • Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
  • Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
  • Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm
  • Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm

Preferred Skills

* High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other contact center technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers

Requirements

* Must be able to navigate various systems and browsers

  • Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Knowledge of contact center technology and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word
  • Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills
  • Excellent communication etiquette
  • Great customer service is expected on every call with our customers: personalize your call, be competent with the information & assistance you deliver to your customer, patient & polite, and be initiative-taking in offering solutions and assistance
