Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our American Airlines Remote Customer Support Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, resolving complex issues, and ensuring seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat, resolving complex issues and ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with customers to resolve issues related to flight reservations, ticketing, and travel arrangements
  • Utilize various internal systems and frameworks to manage customer interactions and resolve issues efficiently
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve complex issues
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide accurate and informed responses to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency, meeting or exceeding performance metrics and targets

What You'll Need

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Bilingual language skills (English and Spanish) or proficiency in other languages (dependent on location)
  • Valid driver's license (dependent on location)
  • Ability to pass FAA background checks and obtain necessary airport security clearances (if applicable)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, thorough background check, and fingerprinting (if applicable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in the airline industry

  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems
  • Experience working in a high-speed environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in multiple languages (dependent on location)
