Position Summary
As a Full Stack Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for monitoring delivery schedules, managing time-sensitive information, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials and products to customer locations. You will work closely with common carriers, communicate with associates from other shifts, and resolve any transportation issues that may arise. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability will be essential in this role, as you will be working in a dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same.
Shift and Schedule
Our typical hours are 12:00pm-8:30pm, with the ability to work weekends as needed to meet customer needs. You will be required to work a flexible schedule, including first, second, and third shifts as needed. We value regular, predictable attendance, and we expect our associates to be committed to their roles and responsibilities.
Major Responsibilities
* Use our Transportation Management System (TMS) to enter and process customer orders
- Work closely with common carriers to ensure on-time deliveries by checking shipment status daily and maintaining transportation relationships
- Communicate with associates from other shifts to ensure seamless service delivery
- Complete daily logs and checklists to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Work with customers to resolve any transportation issues that may arise
- Identify cost savings opportunities for customers and implement solutions to drive down costs
- Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
* At least 1 year of customer service experience required
- Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred / High school diploma or equivalent necessary
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time-sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook, required
- Ability to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer-owned transportation systems and applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including first, second, and third shifts as needed
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete arenaflex employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
