Job Summary

As a Business Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be the voice of our company for our business customers. This is an in-bound call center position where you will be answering questions related to billing issues and/or general questions regarding our business services. You will be responsible for retaining information, following up with customers when needed, and providing solutions to customer inquiries. A successful candidate will have a customer service mindset, strong verbal communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer business customer/client requests or inquiries concerning services and products and report problem areas

  • Utilize various systems and tools to assist and service customers
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of all company products, services, and promotions
  • Make system recommendations based on customers' equipment specifications in accordance with customer needs
  • Determine customer billing issues and provide solutions based on customer inquiries
  • All other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High school Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred

  • At least 1+ year of related experience in a high-volume call center environment
  • Must be detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow procedures
  • Solid problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proven ability to deescalate or persuade customers using exemplary Customer Service, Initiative, and Problem-Solving competencies

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, customer service)

  • Experience working in a fiber optic or telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to deescalate or persuade customers
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant systems
