Role Overview
As a Customer Care Associate, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a courteous and professional manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience, and you will be an integral part of our efforts to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve their issues in a timely and professional manner
- Enter orders accurately and efficiently in our SAP system
- Use multiple customer support tools to resolve customer inquiries, including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate
- Maintain world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations
- Establish and maintain world-class customer relations by developing a rapport and actively listening to gain more information where necessary
- Provide consultative support and recommendations to customers to meet their needs and exceed their expectations
- Suggest alternatives to out-of-stock or limited quantity items and inform customers of available deals, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs
- No previous experience required
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- 1-2 years previous experience in a customer service role
- Experience in consumer products or distribution industry
Competencies
* Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically
- Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available
