Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced E-commerce Customer Business Manager to lead the development and execution of our e-commerce strategy across top platforms. As a key account manager, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers, driving sales growth, and achieving category leadership. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute e-commerce strategies for Chewy and California Pet Pharmacy, aligning with corporate goals and objectives
- Manage and build relationships with e-commerce accounts to deliver annual sales and profit targets, establishing short and long-term sales goals for all e-commerce products
- Provide P&L oversight for key accounts, maximizing profitability by growing top-line sales and managing selling expenses
- Develop annual sales and marketing plans and budget, recommending and managing pricing, trade budgets, and spending effectiveness
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to create annual forecasts and provide monthly updates, ensuring timely adjustments and on-time delivery
- Organize and manage major projects, channel/account-specific campaigns, and coordinate with Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance
- Provide strategic and tactical input to Marketing, setting advertising budgets and commercial plans that drive business with online customers
- Advise Marketing on market demand and insights, promotional opportunities, and incentives to inform future campaign ideas
- Oversee brand protection and collaborate with Brand Protection and Marketing to remedy problems
- Communicate with other departments within the organization to foster teamwork and effectiveness
- Understand competitors in specific markets and develop strategies to position arenaflex brands as category leaders
Essential Qualifications
• 5+ years of e-commerce sales and account management experience domestically or internationally
- Commercial awareness, marketing, and sales background preferred
- Pet category experience a plus
- In-depth understanding of developing, executing sales and marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with extensive experience working with Excel to conduct analysis and detailed sales reports
- Florida travel 30%-40%
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in English, second language helpful
- Working knowledge of e-commerce contracts and understanding of Terms and Conditions
- Knowledge of web promotion strategies, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Google/Yahoo/MSN ad words, and pay-per-click campaigns
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business or marketing-related discipline
- Minimum of five years related experience and/or training
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms, including Chewy and California Pet Pharmacy
- Strong understanding of e-commerce analytics and data-driven decision-making
