Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our remote team. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving a culture of quality, efficiency, and innovation within our organization. You'll be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to improve our quality control processes. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in collecting, approving, and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing insightful answers to enable Senior Leadership to make informed business decisions while adjusting existing task responsibilities.
  • Presenting findings, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant areas of the analysis to ease partner understanding.
  • Helping to create and disseminate specific questions to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/surveys and communicating findings to the team.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and strategies by observing for patterns and errors.
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
  • Performing other work duties as directed by Group Leader.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Analysis, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A strong ability to collect, coordinate, and analyze large amounts of data with precision and care.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
  • The ability to identify and analyze problems, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Past internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field.
  • Experience working in a similar role or industry.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
  • The ability to create and present presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
