Your Impact at arenaflex
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers. Your role will involve:
- Welcome customers to arenaflex, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise, including tool rentals.
- Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
- Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
- Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
- Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Your Day at arenaflex
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, answering questions, and providing support. Your daily responsibilities may vary by department, but you'll have the opportunity to work in one of the following areas:
- Appliances.
- Cabinets.
- Flooring.
- Live Nursery.
- Inside Garden.
- Hardware.
- Tools.
- Millwork.
- Building Materials.
- Plumbing.
- Electrical.

Minimum Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
- The ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- The ability to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
- Bilingual skills.
- Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).
Travel Requirements
This role does not require regular travel; however, you may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.
Working Conditions
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, answering questions, and providing support. You may be exposed to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. You may also be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.
