As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for: Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and implement Akamai security solutions to address customers' security needs Collaborating with the cross-functional project team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support ongoing implementation Participating in ongoing training initiatives to develop your skills Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have a High school / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant engineering/science fields or relevant work experience. Have 2 years experience in a customer-facing role, supporting enterprise software, or in a Professional Services role Be well versed in internet fundamentals, DNS and routing, communication protocols such as HTTP or TCP Demonstrate knowledge of common OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet services compromise or attacks Demonstrate web application security experience Possess great communication skills including ability to explain complex technical content in English Show ability to build successful relationships with with remote and global teams About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
