Role Overview Bridge Carbon is seeking a Senior Associate – Carbon to provide advanced technical support across greenhouse gas (GHG) crediting programmes in India and other priority geographies. This role is suited to an experienced carbon professional who can independently support methodological development, emissions reduction calculations, data quality assurance, and validation and verification activities. The Senior Associate plays a key role in maintaining the technical integrity, audit readiness, and documentation quality of Bridge Carbon’s carbon credit portfolio, while working closely with internal teams, consultants, and external verification bodies. Key Responsibilities

Carbon Programme Support Support planning, implementation, and monitoring in line with guidelines under relevant GHG crediting programmes. Provide structured technical input during project conceptualisation, baseline setting, and monitoring design. Carbon Accounting & Methodological Development · Lead or independently develop emission reduction calculation approaches in accordance with applicable GHG crediting programmes. Support and guide baseline scenario development, including assumptions, parameters, and methodological justification. Ensure calculations and methodologies are robust, defensible, and aligned with approved standards. Research, Analysis & Tool Development Perform literature reviews, project-related research, and background data collection to support methodological applications. Develop and refine data collection tools, including questionnaires designed to assess baseline conditions and monitor project activities across different countries. Analyse monitoring and survey data and provide structured technical interpretations. Validation, Verification & Quality Assurance Perform and/or guide baseline data collection, data analysis, and validation and verification support activities. Ensure quality, completeness, and consistency of technical documentation across validation and verification stages. Review project documentation, monitoring reports, and survey outputs prior to submission. Prepare and coordinate technical responses to Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs) and registries. Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration Support regular interaction with VVBs, registries, consultants, and other project stakeholders on technical matters. Collaborate closely with colleagues, data teams, and operations teams to ensure alignment and information flow. Provide informal guidance and technical support to Associate-level team members. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, energy, sustainability, carbon management, or a related field. Strong professional experience in carbon accounting, GHG crediting programmes, or sustainability project development. Solid understanding of GHG mechanisms, baseline methodologies, emissions reduction calculations, and monitoring frameworks. Hands-on experience supporting validation and verification processes, including interaction with VVBs or auditors. Proven ability to review and quality-check technical documentation with high attention to detail. Strong analytical, writing, and organisational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating across geographically distributed teams. · Role Impact Direct contribution to the technical robustness and audit readiness of Bridge Carbon’s carbon portfolio.
