Team Leader
Job Summary We are looking for a high-energy Team Leader to provide effective guidance and manage our team's daily operations. You will be responsible for managing and motivating team members to ensure everyone is performing against set targets. This role requires a leader who sets a strong example, reviews performance, and provides consistent coaching to engage the team and achieve collective goals. As the primary contact point for all team members, your communication and interpersonal skills must be exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management & Coaching Target Setting: Set clear performance targets for both individuals and the team, consistently measuring and monitoring progress. Coaching & Motivation: Work closely with the team to provide guidance, quality feedback, and daily motivation. Skill Development: Ensure comprehensive training and development plans are maintained for all team members. Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews and manage the fair and consistent application of disciplinary measures when necessary. Recognition: Proactively recognize high performance and reward team accomplishments. Operational Excellence Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day line activities, including prioritizing tasks and performing risk/impact assessments to achieve Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Process Optimization: Use a proactive and creative approach to optimize existing procedures and workflows. Resource Management: Utilize company methodology and team input to meet attendance and retention targets. Escalation Support: Provide expert assistance in handling demanding customers and resolving complex escalations. Leadership & Culture Team Environment: Cultivate an inspiring work environment defined by an open communication culture. Strategic Alignment: Keep the team updated on business developments, new product lines, and industry changes. Engagement: Suggest and organize team-building activities to strengthen collaboration and morale. Inspiration: Lead by example to inspire excellent levels of individual performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Experience: A proven track record as a Team Leader or Team Coach. Communication: Excellent coaching, verbal, and written communication skills. Development Skills: Strong proficiency in people-development through call listening, auditing, and providing constructive, quality feedback. Aptitude: A creative thinker with the ability to navigate demanding customer interactions and escalations. Personality: An energetic and motivating individual who thrives on team success.
