Client Account Manager for SaaS
Overview
Doulado is a SaaS platform built for doulas and birth workers to run and grow their businesses. From documentation and client management to scheduling, billing, and communication, we provide the tools they need to run their businesses or organizations, and support families with confidence. We’re looking for an Account Manager who will fully own the lifecycle of our Impact Plan clients, from the first conversation through onboarding and beyond. This is not a passive account management role. You will be the primary point of contact, guide, and problem-solver for these users. This role is best suited for someone who is a quick thinker, highly resourceful, and thrives working independently. You take initiative, figure things out, and keep things moving without needing constant direction.
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs and determine fit using a consultative approach
- Being a strong, knowledgeable Doulado expert
- Lead product demos on the software and answer questions with clarity and confidence
- Utilize Notion to track interactions, relationships and their status
- Provide onboarding support as clients migrate from any current systems, including helping to import their data and processes and successfully transition into Doulado
- Act as the go-to person for your accounts, building strong, trusted relationships
- Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities within accounts and proactively address them with the product team
- Handle unexpected situations with confidence and good judgment and solve problems quickly
Qualifications
- Experience in practice management, healthcare SaaS, client success, onboarding, or account management preferred
- Strong technical aptitude with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Self-motivated professional who takes initiative, works independently, and maintains ownership of responsibilities
- Quick learner who adapts easily in fast-paced environments and can confidently navigate unexpected situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and workflows simultaneously
- Familiarity with Notion is a plus, or the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
- Comfortable leading client conversations over video with a warm, empathetic, and relationship-focused communication style
- Knowledge of or experience working with doulas, birth professionals, or maternal healthcare is a strong plus, but not required
