As an Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, each with their unique needs and challenges. Your role will involve:

Key Responsibilities

* Issue, reissue, and discount traveler tickets

  • Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform traveler registration and front seat tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat tasks, and issue upgrades
  • Issue vouchers and direct with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh
  • Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check
  • Work entryway peruser/scanner and related duties to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carryon items and departure line models
  • Work jetways/spans for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers
  • Make boarding and departure gate declarations
  • Convey domestic/international flight records
  • Perform traveler service flight close-out methods
  • Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
  • Maintain a schedule of flight loading process
  • Perform customer service hands-on training
  • Process and complete credit card baggage exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Assist travelers with self-service kiosk registration and booth baggage handling at ticket counters
  • Man the lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
  • Clear/confirm international documents at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
  • Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or potentially unaccompanied minors
  • Perform customer assistance work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
  • Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements
  • Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
  • Provide interfacing traveler door information
  • Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with American's policies
  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
  • Complete task-related stages of training
  • Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
  • Utilize various internal assets/frameworks including during customer interactions
  • Wear uniforms as required by organizational policy

All You'll Need for Success

* Least Capabilities: + Education and Earlier Professional training + Bilingual language abilities expected in certain areas + Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities + Should meet FAA criminal history verifications to meet requirements for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Should be able to obtain proper airport power as well as US Customs security identifications, if material + Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check or potentially fingerprinting to fulfill organizational and security requirements + Should be approved to work in the U.S.

  • Favored Capabilities:

+ Training and Earlier Professional training + Working knowledge of Saber or any other Traveler Service Framework + Past face-to-face Customer service experience + Working in a high-speed environment
