Job Description:

As a Medical Insurance Customer Service Advisor at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility and work-life balance you deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate with new patients to explain the billing process and provide clear guidance on their financial obligations. - Proactively reach out to patients when meaningful billing changes are implemented by arenaflex, ensuring they are informed and prepared. - Administer the Financial Assistance Program (FAP), providing patients with the necessary support and resources to navigate their financial situation. - Respond to all inbound patient billing calls, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. - Conduct follow-up phone calls to patients as needed, recognizing and resolving customer issues promptly and escalating to leadership if necessary. - Serve as an initial and consistent point of contact for patients regarding financial assistance program, statements, insurance changes, and charges. - Manage, update, and communicate all aspects of the FAP to the appropriate department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. - Communicate and obtain any requested patient information changes for database maintenance and updates. - Input data into the company computer platform to keep each customer record updated, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. - Share knowledge gained with other staff members and work as a team to achieve common goals. - Interact with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner, upholding the arenaflex values of Innovation, Stewardship, and Unity. - Recognize patients' rights and responsibilities, supporting them in the performance of job duties and respecting their rights to privacy and confidentiality. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification Requirements:

- Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. - Possess strong customer service acumen, with effective verbal and listening communication skills. - Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and work independently, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy. - Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to quickly learn the use of arenaflex's computer platform and other software applications. - Ability to quickly learn the use of Lynx and CPR+, with knowledge in the use of Microsoft applications. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent, with some college preferred and collections, verification, and/or analysis experience. - Customer service call center experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
