The Opportunity

As a Customer Services Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests. You'll take pride in providing exceptional customer service, resolving problems, and following up with customers to ensure their needs are met. Our team is dedicated to maintaining a positive and friendly work environment, so we can always greet our guests with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers, meeting their needs, offering options, resolving problems, and following up with customers.

  • Identify and prioritize problems and issues related to service area, performing research, offering solutions, options, and strategies, and referring to appropriate person or department as needed.
  • Train, schedule, assign, and prioritize workloads, interpreting operating policies and procedures, and ensuring timely completion of department's work.
  • Lead student workers, mail/messages daily for essential updates, and perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Presents oneself professionally, in line with higher education environment.
  • Valid CA driver's license required. Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System. A copy of DMV record will be required as a final condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree.

  • 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to oversee student, temporary, and/or resource workers.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work in a team environment.
  • Good analytical skills and willingness to take initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in technology is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead student workers.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
