Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative - Behavioral Health Advocate at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in providing advocate care to assist members with their health needs. You will engage with members to understand their health needs, review member claim history for accuracy, explain member rights and responsibilities, and build trusting relationships with members. Key Responsibilities

* Engage with members to understand their health needs and provide personalized support

  • Review member claim history for accuracy and ensure that all necessary information is up-to-date
  • Explain member rights and responsibilities, including benefits and claims information
  • Build trusting relationships with members through empathetic and compassionate communication
  • Perform financial data maintenance, including updating member records and processing claims
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex's policies and procedures

Requirements

* 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or behavioral health setting

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex member issues
  • Experience with medical or insurance terminology and procedures is preferred
  • Behavioral health experience is preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a call center or behavioral health setting

  • Medical or insurance background, including experience with claims processing and member advocacy
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or healthcare administration
  • Certification in a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Behavioral Health Advocate (CBHA)
