What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting patients in resolving billing issues, handling complaints, and setting up payment plans
- Documenting customer complaints and interactions in the appropriate systems
- Tracking trends in customer service encounters and recommending resolutions to the supervisor
- Providing training and support to new Customer Service Representative I colleagues
- Communicating and following up with stakeholders on customer service activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Up to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare setting
- Previous service or call center experience with strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
