Job Summary

As a Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our policy holders, agents, and funeral homes to provide exceptional customer service and ensure their needs are met. Key Responsibilities

* Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide exceptional customer service to policy holders, agents, and funeral homes
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a fair and efficient manner
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer operation skills
  • Ability to type 35 wpm
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience working in the insurance industry

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish)
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
