Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our remote team. As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or chat.
  • Order Management: Process and manage customer orders, including re-orders and general customer inquiries.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks as assigned by the Data Entry Manager.
  • Triage and Resolution: Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Order Clarification: Clarify orders as needed to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including but not limited to, data entry, filing, and record-keeping.

Requirements

To be successful as a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need:

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License: A valid and active license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of New Jersey.
  • Previous Experience in Pharmacy: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy environment.
  • Knowledge of Brand Name and Generic Medications: A strong understanding of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Moderate to Advanced Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer software, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other relevant applications.
  • Great Telephone Etiquette: Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Frameworks / ECM Knowledge: Knowledge of frameworks and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications

* LTC Pharmacy Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care pharmacy environment is highly preferred.

  • Certifications: Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Certified Clinical Pharmacy Technician (CCPhT) is a plus.
