Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team in Mobile, AL. This full-time remote position involves working alternating weekends on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, providing an opportunity to work from home during weekend shifts. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing prescription needs, coordinating with clients, pharmacies, and claimants, and ensuring accurate assignment of medication benefits.
Responsibilities
• Prepares, inputs, and supports claimant profiles in pharmacy network, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assists pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications, providing timely and efficient support.
- Coordinates and liaises with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits, resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Supports client needs regarding requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data, providing clear and concise information.
- Manages and updates client and claimant information in multiple systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Answers questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies regarding medications, providing expert knowledge and guidance.
- Adjusts to changing processes and needs of various clients, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Performs other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team and the growth of our organization.
Requirements
• 3 years related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in the use of computers and multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of its applications and features.
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask relevant questions, ensuring clear and effective communication with clients, claimants, and team members.
- Excellent written grammatical skills and understanding of proper telephone etiquette, ensuring professional and courteous interactions.
