Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Quantitative Analysis and Business Insights

The Role

As a Data Scientist on our team, you'll be responsible for conducting quantitative analysis to inform business decisions, developing and automating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions. You'll work closely with our product management team to develop key insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that span multiple domains and industries.

Responsibilities

* Conduct quantitative analysis to inform business decisions, including cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and impact assessment

• Develop and automate reports, iteratively assemble and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs, formulate and execute assessments that include data gathering, analysis, and ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations
• Help arenaflex focus on key decisions to improve products and services
• Develop and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple tiers of stakeholders, developing clear and compelling narratives of quantitative data
• Work closely with product management to develop key insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes

Essential Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences, etc.)

• Experience working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.)
• Experience articulating product questions, pulling statistics from datasets (SQL), and using statistics to attain an answer
• Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills, with a strong business acumen
• Ability to translate assessment outcomes into business guidelines
• Interest and potential to work with statistics, metrics, assessment, and development, with a strong understanding of measurement, statistics, and awareness assessment

Preferred Qualifications

* Currently attending a degree program within the United States and available to work full-time for 12 weeks outside of university term time

• In their penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completing an internship
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations
• Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and principles
