Key Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Building rapport with customers through empathetic listening, effective communication, and personalized solutions
- Responding to and resolving inbound phone calls in a fast-paced call center environment, ensuring high satisfaction and growth of business
- Providing counsel, guidance, and suggestions to customers to protect what they value most, using upselling and cross-selling sales skills to educate customers and agents on new and existing insurance products and services
- Upholding arenaflex's customer care standards by achieving individual goals on call quality, handling time, lead transfer ratio, adherence, first-call resolution, and reliability
- Maintaining and tracking accurate data in various computer systems, ensuring seamless data management and analysis
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, provide support, and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An Associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 6 months related work experience, with customer service experience preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capacity to multitask in a structured work environment
- Ability to review, record, and organize written data from a variety of sources with no pre-established format
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Clear understanding of arenaflex's policies, standards, and procedures to guide customer interactions
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Experience working in a call center environment
- Knowledge of insurance products and services
- Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
- Certification in customer service or a related field
