Experienced Customer Acceptance and Delivery Engineer – Aviation Industry Expertise

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Acceptance and Delivery Engineer to join our team in Mobile, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the risks associated with customer acceptance and delivery, ensuring that all technical, industrial, certification, definition, planning, and contractual aspects are properly addressed. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external customers.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the risks associated with customer acceptance and delivery, including technical, industrial, certification, definition, planning, and contractual aspects
- Serve as the single point of contact for customers pre-FAL to Ferry Flight, ensuring that all customer expectations are met while protecting arenaflex interests
- Facilitate and protect the application of recommendations and decisions made on behalf of the MFT, considering customer expectations and arenaflex interests
- Negotiate the acceptance of complex technical items that may threaten delivery milestones
- Identify significant deviations that could jeopardize FAL milestones and delivery
- Manage the Feedback Loop together with the Aircraft Quality Customer Manager and Customer Support Director
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all customer requirements are met
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in a technical aviation capacity in the aeronautical industry
- Prior experience in:
+ Working with structure, systems, avionics, and cabin + Management and industrial aircraft processes + Managing multi-functional teams + Negotiating in aircraft manufacturing with internal and external customers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally for training and business meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in a technical aviation capacity in the aeronautical industry
- Experience working with complex technical systems and processes
- Experience managing large-scale projects and teams
- Certification in a related field (e.g. aerospace engineering, project management)
