Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Adult Education/Aspire Secretary with a data entry focus to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. As a key administrative support staff, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to data entry, customer service, and program management. Key Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time Adult Education/Aspire Secretary with a data entry focus, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Gather data to create certificates for programs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare and distribute certificates and transcripts to students, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
- Develop and manage spreadsheets to track grants, invoices, and payments, ensuring compliance with arenaflex's financial policies
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and the general public, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Assist the Adult Education Coordinator with completing requisitions, tracking purchase orders, and invoicing businesses, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Update information in the Higher Education Information system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Maintain and organize program surveys, analyzing data to inform program improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Instruction or other senior staff members
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work a part-time schedule, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Two years of experience in a related field, preferably in education or administration
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
