Experienced Quality Control Data Entry Clerk – Document Management and Compliance Support

Key Responsibilities
As a QC Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Entering and maintaining quality-related data and documentation in internal systems with precision, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Updating and managing controlled documents to ensure only current versions are in circulation, maintaining the integrity of our document control systems.
- Compiling and assembling Project Data Books and manuals, including material certifications, test records, and inspection reports, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies with internal teams or vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and procedures.
- Tracking and managing calibration records for tools and equipment, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Assisting with traceability documentation and load path verification, ensuring that all quality records are properly maintained and accessible.
- Supporting internal and external audits by organizing and retrieving quality records as needed, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.
- Participating in safety and quality programs, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the quality department.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma; some college preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality documentation, data entry, or a related role, with a strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and PDF editing tools, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
- Strong written communication and document review skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on time management and organization.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory standards is a plus, with a strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
This role requires:
- Frequent standing and walking; regular use of hands to handle documents and tools.
- Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer, with occasional light lifting of materials or office supplies.
