Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Agent at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly to gig workers' inquiries and providing accurate and helpful information through our chat support system
  • Addressing and resolving gig workers' concerns, issues, or complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient chat support experience for gig workers
  • Staying up-to-date with the features and functionalities of the arenaflex platform and our partner staffing apps
  • Assisting gig workers in navigating the arenaflex platform and troubleshooting any technical issues they may encounter
  • Actively promoting the benefits and features of arenaflex to gig workers to encourage engagement and participation
  • Documenting and escalating complex or unresolved queries to the appropriate departments for further assistance

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a customer support agent or similar role, preferably in the gig economy or staffing industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate between multiple chat conversations efficiently
  • An empathetic and customer-oriented mindset, with a genuine desire to help gig workers succeed
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate software applications and work with chat support tools
  • The ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity and focus
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide support as needed

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., communications, business, or customer service) preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer support or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the gig economy and staffing industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
