Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Contact Center Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Building strong relationships with customers through inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels
- Providing expert guidance and advice on our product lines, including retirement plans and financial services
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Staying up-to-date on product features, plan concepts, and industry developments to provide accurate and informed guidance
- Utilizing standard work and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions and drive creative problem-solving
- Working under immediate supervision and contributing to a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, business, communications) is preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and handle objections
- Proficiency with basic computer functions, including mouse and keyboard usage, launching applications, and navigating multiple systems
- Strong learning agility, flexibility, and adaptability to learn new things and apply that learning to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we welcome candidates with:
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Bi-lingual skills, with a $3,000 pay differential available for qualified candidates
- A strong understanding of financial concepts and products
- Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment
