Our Security and Legal Information Engineering team designs adaptable data management and extraction frameworks that form the backbone of our ability to uphold the most stringent data protection and cleanliness guidelines in the industry. We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us build robust, flexible, and protection-driven data structures. As part of this team, you'll work with various data technologies like Flash, Voila, Flink, Kafka, and others to create fast, versatile, and powerful data pipelines; write ETL tasks to collect and aggregate data; and design high-quality data structures that enable proper handling of user personal data.

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Security and Legal Information Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and building robust, flexible, and protection-driven data structures that enable us to handle user personal data with the utmost care. You'll work with various data technologies, write ETL tasks, and collaborate with our protection designing teams to deliver high-quality data pipelines that meet our users' needs.Key Responsibilities
- Design and build effective, versatile, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
- Develop a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at arenaflex from a protection perspective
- Collaborate with the protection designing teams to understand item objectives and deliver data that enables us to respond to user and regulatory data requests
- Maintain and reevaluate existing datasets and pipelines
- Join a talented team of data engineers who are passionate about upgrading our data protection act and mitigating legal and regulatory risk
Essential Qualifications
- Strong background in data engineering with a focus on data protection and compliance
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Excellent understanding of advanced SQL concepts
- Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
- Ability to take requirements and deliver flexible data models and pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
