Job Summary

As an Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director, you'll provide high-level administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the success of our team. This is a part-time, remote position, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You'll work closely with our Managing Director, providing administrative assistance, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the Managing Director, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems
  • Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents as required
  • Screen calls and visitors, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills to welcome clients, colleagues, and staff
  • Prepare and send correspondence, memoranda, reports, and other documents as required
  • Hold meeting rooms and coordinate catering as necessary to support meetings and events
  • Plan and organize large-scale events and meetings, both on and off-site
  • Assist with creating, implementing, and monitoring internal business processes and procedures
  • Manage the assigned floor organization, including ordering supplies, maintaining supply room inventory, managing mailings, and coordinating housekeeping needs
  • Practice health-conscious behaviors in all functional activities and methods

What You'll Need to Succeed

* Secondary School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or airline environment
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
  • Ability to make travel arrangements and coordinate logistics
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and files
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Familiarity with Delta's systems and processes is an asset

  • Knowledge of corporate business cycles and methods, including cost accounting, purchasing, and departmental budgeting
  • Four-year degree or 3 or more years of relevant experience
