Job Summary

As an Experienced Japanese Language Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via inbound messages in Japanese. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and create a unique experience for each individual customer. This is a fully remote opportunity, and you will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.

Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries via inbound messages in Japanese

  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues efficiently and creating a unique experience for each individual customer
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences
  • Participate in language assessments in Japanese and English to ensure adequate proficiency
  • Complete orientation and training programs to ensure a smooth transition into the role

Orientation Hours, Production Hours, and Project Commitments

* Orientation phase 1: 4 weeks, 4 AM - 1 PM (Pacific Time)

  • Orientation phase 2: 4 weeks, self-scheduled between the hours of 7 AM - 10 PM (Pacific Time)
  • Production: Daily, 7 AM - 10 PM (Pacific Time)
  • Project commitments:

+ 25 hours per week + 8 hours are required on Saturday and/or Sunday + 180 days (as needed by arenaflex)

Requirements

* Strong desire to create a unique experience for each individual customer

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional/business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
  • Experience providing customer support via inbound web messages
  • Ability to work with multiple customers simultaneously (3-5 customers at a time)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet productivity and quality standards

Workspace Requirements

* Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above

  • Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on your mobile device
  • Access to a webcam or smartphone capable of taking pictures
  • Stable broadband internet connection of 25 MBS or greater
  • 8 GB RAM or better
  • Dual monitors highly recommended
