Job Summary

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including answering phones, responding to orders, handling client complaints, and triaging incoming faxes. Key Responsibilities

* Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, and handling client inquiries

  • Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
  • Clarify orders as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of pharmacy operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, as required

Requirements

* Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License

  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with a focus on customer service and communication
  • LTC pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, as well as their uses and side effects
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Great telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on healthcare or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

* Frameworks/ECM knowledge, with experience in pharmacy operations and customer service

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on customer service and communication
  • Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field, such as PTCB or ExCPT
