Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialists to join our team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our revenue operations department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics. Your primary responsibilities will include communicating with insurance payers, responding to payer communications, and collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams.
Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing duties related to revenue operations, including medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage
- Communicating with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics
- Responding timely and accurately to payer communications
- Collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams
- Partnering with clinics teammates, including Insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
- Identifying process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience required
- Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required
- Data Entry experience filling out online forms
- Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals
- Proper claim accounting knowledge is a big plus
- Medical billing or accounting experience is a big plus
