Job Summary
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for reviewing and updating healthcare data, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data entry. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
* Review and update healthcare data to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Resolve discrepancies and errors in data entry, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with various departments to improve data entry processes and systems
- Analyze and resolve complex data entry issues, using problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and customers
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in data entry and healthcare
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of process improvements
Required Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience with healthcare data entry systems and software, such as electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of healthcare data entry systems and software
- Certification in medical coding, billing, or data entry, such as CPC, CMC, or CDE
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel, Access, or SQL
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance, including HIPAA and ICD-10
