Senior Solutions Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities Prepare the Solution Engineer team to be successful through proactive training, sharing knowledge, and communicating best practices. Advise team members and sales prior to customer calls and/or sales strategy sessions; acts as subject matter expert in multiple families of solutions. Designs technical solutions not only considering the customer’s infrastructure but also the business limitations and opportunities; operates comfortably beyond standard approaches to satisfy the needs of all the stakeholders. Responsible for driving a variety of initiatives and projects and strategically works with sales, partners and customers to uncover and increase emerging business opportunities. Deliver presentations and conducts sales conversations with confidence and credibility to C-level clients, both in small meeting and large group formats; assists with cost evaluation and providing pricing solutions. Role will involve approximately 20% travel Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum of 8 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operational ERP experience Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage, NetSuite or other ERP companies or Value-Added Resellers (VARs). Qualifications 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge. 4+ years of specialized/industry.
