About the role We're growing our engineering team and looking for a Software Engineer (backend or frontend focus) to help us scale our integrated digital care platform. You'll get to build a product which brings measurable care outcomes through digital channels — already deployed in 10+ countries with rapidly increasing volumes. We deliver scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions for many clients, integrating with various healthcare services and APIs. We emphasise great UX, accessibility, and maintainability, ensuring our product provides the best possible experience for patients and care professionals. We're looking for someone who is a proactive communicator, has a product-driven mindset, and is motivated by taking ownership over the product they build. The team you will be joining: Online Booking — builds our widely integrated online booking solution which provides access to care at scale What you will do Design, build, and maintain features across our SaaS platform in a cross-functional product team Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions Take ownership of the product you build — from development to running it in production Contribute to improving engineering practices, code quality, and developer experience Integrate with various healthcare services and third-party APIs Must have skills: Solid expertise and a few years of experience (3–5 years) in JavaScript (Node.js), TypeScript, and relational databases (PostgreSQL) Experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party services and APIs Solid expertise and a few years of experience (3–5 years) in React A degree in an appropriate field (e.g. software engineering) Experience working with SaaS products Experience developing and maintaining a product running in production Fluency in English — knowledge of Finnish is a plus but not mandatory Experience with, or strong motivation to adopt, AI tools in software development (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) Bonus points Experience with accessibility Experience with online booking systems Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or similar healthcare integrations Experience from highly regulated industries (e.g. healthcare) Location Flexible home-office policy, with offices in Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä and Berlin.
