We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building practical systems that solve real operational problems. This role supports a large-scale lending and financial services platform focused on modernizing how loan and financial data systems are built, maintained, and supported. You’ll work across backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend applications to help develop secure, scalable systems that support lending workflows, financial data processing, and customer-facing applications. If you have experience in mortgage, lending, fintech, or regulated environments, that’s a plus. If not, strong engineering fundamentals and an interest in financial platforms go a long way here. What You’ll Do: Design, build, and maintain full stack applications supporting lending and financial services workflows Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java and related technologies Support frontend application development and user-facing platform enhancements Build and support systems related to loan origination, servicing, portfolio management, and financial data processing Work with databases, data models, and workflow automation tools to support operational processes Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps teams, and other engineers across Agile delivery teams Support secure coding practices and compliance requirements within regulated environments Troubleshoot application issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration problems Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, testing, and release activities Contribute to modernization efforts involving cloud platforms, APIs, and scalable distributed systems What You’ll Need: 3+ years of experience in Java or full stack software engineering roles Experience building backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, or related frameworks Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases Understanding of API integrations, microservices, and distributed systems concepts Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience supporting cloud-based or enterprise application environments Mortgage, lending, fintech, or financial systems experience is a plus Federal government experience is a plus Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other required government clearance How We’ll Support You: Keeping people satisfied is no small undertaking.
