Your Role As a Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer, you will validate DDR4/LPDDR4/LPDDR5 subsystems before silicon, ensuring correctness, performance, and compliance. In this role, you will: Develop and execute verification plans for DDR controller, PHY, and firmware. Build UVM-based testbenches and run simulations/emulation (VCS, Xcelium). Debug and validate DDR training firmware (write/read leveling, VREF, ZQ calibration). Ensure JEDEC protocol compliance and correct timing behavior. Analyze waveforms and logs to root-cause issues. Verify low-power features (especially LPDDR4/LPDDR5). Collaborate with SoC, firmware, and design teams for system integration. Automate regressions and testing using Python/Perl scripts. Your Profile 6+ years in pre-silicon verification, preferably DDR subsystems. Strong skills in SystemVerilog, UVM, and simulation tools (VCS/Xcelium). Good understanding of DDR PHY, controller architecture, and JEDEC standards. Experience in firmware development (C) for DDR training and calibration. Familiar with training algorithms (write/read leveling, VREF, delay tuning). Strong debugging skills using waveforms and logs.Knowledge of low-power validation and scripting (Python/Perl). Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills. Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
