Accounts/Bookkeeping for a Manufacturing Company in Australia (Home Based Full Time)
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for one primary entity and three smaller entities using MYOB and Xero
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Reconcile bank accounts, loan accounts, and credit card accounts regularly
- Manage and allocate incoming and outgoing payments accurately
- Prepare manual journal entries when required, including inter-entity loan adjustments
- Investigate and resolve internal financial queries, including month-to-month Profit & Loss variances
Payroll Administration
- Process end-to-end weekly payroll across multiple entities
- Maintain accurate employee records, leave entitlements, time-in-lieu balances, and timesheets
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Handle PAYG withholding and superannuation obligations in compliance with Australian regulations
- Process superannuation payments within required deadlines
BAS & Compliance Support
- Support monthly GST BAS requirements in coordination with the external accountant
- Maintain a working understanding of Australian GST regulations
- Ensure BAS payments are processed accurately and on time
- Assist with maintaining compliance with Australian payroll and taxation requirements
