Accounting Manager

As a growing and fast-paced organization, Demo Co. is looking for a motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. This newly created position will be an integral part of our company operations, managing the overall accounting function, and leading a team of professionals. Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; CPA or related certification is highly preferred.
