Senior BackEnd Engineer - Node.js

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Backend Engineer to support the development and maintenance of backend services built on TypeScript and Fastify. You will work alongside senior engineers to deliver reliable APIs and maintain data layers powering web and mobile experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Document, develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and Fastify Build and update APIs consumed by frontend and mobile applications Assist with Elasticsearch query development and optimization Work with Redis / Valkey for caching implementations Write unit and integration tests to ensure service reliability Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Up to 4 years of professional backend development experience Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js Experience building APIs (REST, GraphQL, RPC) with Fastify, Apollo, Express, or similar frameworks Familiarity with Elastic search or other search/indexing technologies Basic understanding of caching concepts (Redis, Memcached, or similar) Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows NICE TO HAVE Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with cloud-hosted environments Tech Holding is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
