Overview

As a Mid-level Software Quality Assurance Engineer on the Draw Product Development team, you will be responsible for verifying the quality and reliability of our lottery software solutions. Your work will focus on performing thorough manual testing and contributing to automation efforts to enhance product stability and scalability. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues, suggest improvements, and uphold best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Working within an Agile, distributed team, you will play a key role in ensuring our innovative products meet the highest standards and are ready for global deployment. We also support the use of Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to streamline workflows and foster innovation.

Responsibilities

Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required. Works independently, and is the primary contact with development services. Organizes, designs plans, directs, and assists in all the activities required for the test effort. Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications. Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. Contribute to test automation efforts using tools such as Robot Framework (added value). Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman. Track and report defects using JIRA or similar tools. Work independently and as part of a distributed team to meet project goals. Exhibit strong English communication skills, B2/C1 level, to facilitate effective project collaboration within a distributed team. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. Solid experience in manual testing with exposure to automation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment. Hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing. Proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA). Experience with XRAY. Nice to have Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms. Familiarity with Azure DevOps. Familiarity with event-based architectures and Kafka. Understanding of microservices design principles. Python scripting skills. Experience with PostgreSQL database systems. Experience with Git and GitHub, including pipeline development. Exposure to Robot Framework for test automation. Knowledge of Kubernetes. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Success Profile
