Location Ottawa or Toronto, Canada - Hybrid All other Canadian locations - Remote About the team This role sits within the Data Fabric team—a cross-functional group of standout cloud, data, and AI engineers and architects building a modern supply chain data and AI foundation on top of Databricks across Azure and GCP. Our mission is accelerating: we're hardening the platform and augmenting both our processes and products with data and AI. You'll be plugged into this exciting work. This is a full-time, 18-month position. Vacancy Status This is an existing job vacancy What you will do Engineer the Databricks platform across Azure and GCP. Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, workspace lifecycle, Terraform, CI/CD, and an AI-augmented SDLC. Evolve data and AI governance in Unity Catalog. Structure, tagging, lineage, RBAC, and PII. Work closely with ML R&D teams. Partner on data, feedback loops, and AI-driven data products. What we are looking for Databricks experience. Production experience with Unity Catalog, Delta, Spark/SQL tuning, and streaming. You know what breaks. Engineering fundamentals. 5+ years building production systems. Strong Python and SQL. Comfortable with IaC, CI/CD, and ambiguity. You write clearly. Initiative with outcomes. You find hard problems and finish them. Show your work; side projects and OSS count. Open to working—and building—with agents. Agents augment our development process and our product. Prior experience isn't required; willingness to learn and adopt is. Bonus if you're already there. Ability to find opportunities to accelerate the SDLC through innovative application of AI or other tooling while upholding architecture consistency, secure design, and code-quality standards. Ability to review AI-generated code rigorously for correctness, architectural fit, integration risk, and edge case support with a growth mindset and bias for experimentation.

Experience with feedback loops or human-in-the-loop ML systems. Multi-tenant SaaS data platform experience.
