Compensation

Effective September 1, 2026 - $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) Effective September 1, 2026 - $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally) Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties Instructors have a nominal workload of 195 hours per half-credit course. Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement.

Qualifications

Professional and/or academic experience in the field of Clinical and/or Counselling Psychology. Thorough knowledge of contemporary major theories of counselling and psychotherapy, including client/person-centered counselling, cognitive-behaviour therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and post-modern approaches. Due to the applied and clinical specialty, the Psychologist should be Registered with the College of Psychology of Ontario (or its equivalent). Professional contacts related to the course content, in the Niagara Region, is an asset due to the supervision and/or applied aspects of the discipline. The instructor must be available through regular office hours and appointments for TA supervision and contact with students Applications Please note: The mode of delivery for this course will be Asynchronous Online (AO).
